For Financial Advisors

For advisors who won't put client data in someone else's cloud.

Financial advisors handle some of the most sensitive data there is: account balances, family situations, estate plans, tax positions. Many won't run that through a vendor's cloud AI, and that's completely reasonable. Advisor Prep Hero never sees your work. Your files stay on your machine, and your AI requests go straight to the provider you chose, never through a server of ours. Want it fully offline? Point Advisor Prep Hero at a local model like Ollama and nothing leaves your machine at all. Want to see exactly where your data goes? Read the full data path.

Your client data stays out of a vendor's hands
Cloud AI tools that receive client information introduce a third party into your data path. With Advisor Prep Hero, there is no Advisor Prep Hero server in the middle: files stay local, Advisor Prep Hero never sees your work, and AI requests go straight to the provider you chose. Want fully offline? Point Advisor Prep Hero at a local model like Ollama and nothing leaves your machine at all.
Regulation S-P: verify with your compliance counsel
The SEC amended Regulation S-P in 2024, adding new safeguards and a breach-notification requirement that took effect in 2025. This is informational, not compliance advice. Verify with your compliance counsel how Advisor Prep Hero fits your specific obligations. What Advisor Prep Hero does do: keep your files on your machine and Advisor Prep Hero out of your data path, which is one fewer place client data can travel.
Work product that is yours to keep
Every AI session produces a real Markdown file in a folder you control. Your work product stays on your machine, searchable and portable, ready to produce whenever you need it. It does not replace your retention policies, your compliance obligations, or your judgment.

The Advisor Practice Pack: 7 templates. Available in the app today.

The Advisor Practice Pack ships with seven workflows built with input from practicing advisors: a Client Financial-Plan Summary, Meeting-Prep and Suitability Notes, an Annual-Review Packet, a Confidential Client-Data Inventory, a Books and Records Retention Note, Reg BI Documentation, and a Reg S-P Safeguards Outline. Each produces drafts you review, not advice you rely on without verification.

What the pack does

Each workflow walks you through a structured interview, then drafts a document you edit and approve. The seven templates cover: Client Financial-Plan Summary, Meeting-Prep and Suitability Notes, Annual-Review Packet, Confidential Client-Data Inventory, Books and Records Retention Note, Reg BI Documentation, and a Reg S-P Safeguards Outline. Each produces a draft you review; none makes a determination for you.

Built for fiduciary practice

Every advisor template strips account numbers and SSNs from the output by default, frames suitability items as conversation starters rather than determinations, and carries a verify-before-relying reminder on outputs that assert regulatory positions.

See how Advisor Prep Hero fits your current stack and how to run it with zero data egress using Ollama: the only path that cleanly clears Reg S-P service-provider questions.

More templates on the way

The seven current workflows cover the most common advisor writing tasks. I am building additional templates based on feedback from advisors in practice. If you run into a workflow I have not covered yet, I would like to hear about it. Founding-list members get new templates first, at the founding rate: 30% off, locked for the life of the subscription.

Your files stay on your machine. Advisor Prep Hero is never in the path.

Want to see the exact data path? Read the full breakdown.

1

Direct connection

When you run a workflow, the request goes from your machine to your AI provider. Advisor Prep Hero is never in the middle. Your files stay local; only the text you choose to send goes to the provider you picked, under the terms you agreed to with them.

2

Files on disk

Every analysis saves as a plain Markdown file in a folder you control. Auditable, searchable, portable. Standard format that survives any software change, and one you can produce at any time.

3

Your keys, your costs

Bring your own Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini key. You control the API spend and the provider relationship. Advisor Prep Hero charges once at purchase, never again, and never touches your keys.

How Advisor Prep Hero compares to the AI you already have

Most advisors are looking at the AI meeting-notes tools (Jump, Zocks), the AI now bundled into eMoney or MoneyGuidePro, or ad-hoc ChatGPT. Here's the honest comparison.

Capability Advisor Prep Hero Jump eMoney AI (bundled) ChatGPT (free/Plus)
Runs fully on your machine, nothing leaves, with a local model Yes, with a local model No No No

Typical cost $948/yr + your own AI usage Approx. $75-175/advisor/mo (check current pricing) Bundled (check current details) $0-20/mo (check current pricing)

Competitor pricing and features are approximate, as of 2026; check each vendor for current details.

Where the others are the better choice (honest)

Jump and Zocks are purpose-built for meeting notes and CRM sync, and that's not what Advisor Prep Hero does. If automating post-meeting admin is your main need, buy one of them. Advisor Prep Hero is for the private drafting and analysis of your most sensitive client work, and for the firm whose compliance officer doesn't want any AI vendor receiving client data at all.

Why the timing matters

The SEC's Reg S-P amendments now require you to vet and monitor every vendor that touches client data, and the smaller-firm deadline passed in June 2026. With Advisor Prep Hero on a local model, there's no AI vendor in the data path to vet, because nothing leaves your machine. Informational, not compliance advice; verify with your compliance counsel.

Plus your AI provider costs: you bring your own API key, so AI is billed directly by Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, typically $5 to $15 a month for moderate use (and $0 if you run a local model like Ollama). Estimate your cost.
