The private intelligence layer for your advisory practice.
Find any email or document you have ever filed in seconds, with a citation you can click. Draft and redline client letters in real Word with tracked changes. Pull a whole household's history together before a review. Everything stays on your machine, and your client's account details never get pasted into a chatbot you don't control. This is the place your whole practice lives, and it answers you back.
30 days free. No credit card. Windows, Mac, and Linux.
The founding cohort locks 30% off, for the life of the subscription. Solo runs $27/mo instead of $39, and the rate never goes up on you. Join the list to claim it before the seats are gone.
Ask in plain English. Get the exact email back, with a citation.
Outlook search is where things go to hide. Advisor Prep Hero imports your email and documents, indexes them on your machine, and answers the question you actually have: what did the client say about the 529 in our last review, which version of the plan had the Roth conversion, when did they first ask about the annuity. Every answer points to the exact source, so you can verify it in one click.
- Search across every email and document you have ever filed
- Every answer cites the exact message, file, and page
- Scoped to one client, so you never cross households
- Indexed on your machine, not in anyone's cloud
It reads the whole client file and flags what needs your attention.
Email is your Tuesday. The statements and plans are your weekends. Point Advisor Prep Hero at the documents for a household and it pulls the open items together: what changed since the last review, where the beneficiary form and the account don't line up, what the suitability notes still need, and a first draft of the annual-review packet. It works like a tireless associate: it flags things for you to verify, with a citation on each one. You decide what is real.
- Finds mismatches across statements, forms, and emails
- Builds the review timeline and pulls together a household's open items
- Drafts the annual-review packet and meeting-prep notes you review before they go out
- It proposes, you decide, and every flag is pinned to a source
Draft and redline in real Word, with tracked changes intact.
If it isn't in Word with your letterhead, it isn't a real document. Advisor Prep Hero works on the actual file, not a flattened copy, so a redline keeps its tracked changes, comments, styles, numbering, and tables. Draft a client engagement letter or an investment policy statement, have the AI mark it up section by section, and send back a Word file your client or your compliance reviewer can accept or reject. No copy-paste cleanup, no broken formatting, no finishing the job somewhere else.
- Edit and export real .docx and PDF, on your own letterhead
- AI redlines arrive as tracked changes you can accept or reject
- Styles, numbering, tables, and comments survive the round trip
- You never see Markdown, and you never reformat by hand
The whole truth, told first, by us.
Your clients hand you their whole financial life. So here is exactly where your client's data is, in one screen, with nothing buried.
You choose how private each client is
Point Advisor Prep Hero at a local model with Ollama and nothing leaves your machine, ever. The paranoid mode for your most sensitive client.
Your key, your account. The prompt goes straight to Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, and never through a server of ours. Honest part: on this path, that provider does see the prompt. We tell you so up front.
A zero-retention deployment option for firm review. A signed DPA and SOC 2 are on our roadmap, not yet in place. Available on the Firm plan.
What that means in practice
- An egress indicator on every action tells you where it is going: "your machine only," or "Anthropic, directly from you."
- A one-screen data map, in plain English, you can hand to a worried client.
- Email and documents are encrypted at rest on your machine.
- Tag, segregate, and scrub confidential client work, with an audit trail you can hand to a compliance reviewer.
- It fits beside your CRM (Wealthbox or Redtail), Outlook, and Word. Nothing to integrate and nothing to migrate: it works on the files and email you already have.
Microsoft 365 Copilot and the other cloud assistants cannot honestly promise they never see your data, because their whole design depends on seeing it. Advisor Prep Hero can, because most of the time it never has to.
Built for advisors, and the firms they grow into.
Advisor Prep Hero isn't a general productivity tool. It's the private intelligence layer for an advisory practice, and it lands with the solo advisor who carries the whole book.
Financial advisors & RIAs
Client financials, plans, and account details are some of the most sensitive data there is. Advisor Prep Hero keeps them on your machine. Run a local model and they never leave it at all. The Advisor Practice pack: 7 templates for fiduciary work.
Tax preparers & CPAs
The same private architecture, for return information you cannot put in a chatbot. Clients' SSNs, returns, and financial statements stay on your machine. Engagement letters, return pre-review, research memos, audit-defense prep. The Tax Practice pack: 13 templates.
Independent consultants & agencies
Your NDAs say client data stays confidential. Your workflow depends on AI. Advisor Prep Hero is where those two facts coexist: synthesize client discovery, draft confidential memos, and prepare presentations on your own machine. The Consulting Practice pack: 9 templates.
Litigation-heavy solos and small firms
Your whole caseload lives here: email, filings, deposition transcripts, discovery, prior matters. Find anything in seconds with a cited answer, tear through depositions for contradictions, build the timeline, draft the privilege log, and redline the agreement in real Word, all without a client's data leaving your machine. The Legal Practice pack: 19 templates for the documents you actually produce.
A fraction of the cost of cloud advisor tools. The only one where your client files never leave your control.
Per seat, billed annually. Month-to-month available. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, no card.

You bring your own AI key, and we never mark it up
You pay the provider directly, usually $5 to $15 a month for a solo, and you see exactly what it costs. Prefer that nothing leaves your machine at all? Run a local model with Ollama and pay nothing for AI. Either way, your subscription covers the platform: the Word editor, AI redlining, cited recall, confidentiality controls, encryption, updates, and support. It does not cover the AI tokens, and we take no markup on them.
Your files are always yours
They are real Word and PDF files in your own folders. If you ever cancel, you keep every document, email, and client file you have made. A lapsed subscription turns off the AI features and updates, not your data. Nothing is ever held hostage.
| Product | Price per seat | Where Advisor Prep Hero sits |
|---|---|---|
| Jump / Zocks (AI meeting notes) | about $75 to $175/advisor/mo | A different job (meeting capture and CRM sync); Advisor Prep Hero is the private layer for confidential drafting and analysis |
| eMoney / MoneyGuidePro AI (bundled) | bundled into the planning suite | Runs in the vendor cloud; Advisor Prep Hero keeps client data on your machine |
| ChatGPT (free / Plus) | $0 to $20/mo | Generic and cloud-only; with Advisor Prep Hero on a local model no client data leaves your machine |
| Microsoft 365 Copilot | $21 to $30/mo add-on (needs base M365) | Advisor Prep Hero Solo is at or above, with advisor-specific depth and no required base subscription |
All plans include a 30-day free trial. No credit card required to download.
Plus your AI provider costs: you bring your own AI key, so the AI itself is billed directly by Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, typically $5 to $15 a month for moderate use, and $0 if you run a local model. Estimate your cost.

A note on compliance claims
The regulatory references on this page (SEC Regulation S-P, Reg BI, ABA, IRC) are informational, not legal or compliance advice. Advisor Prep Hero's local-first architecture is designed to reduce your compliance surface, but it doesn't eliminate your professional obligations. Where your data actually goes
Your documents and your AI key stay on your machine. Run a local model with Ollama and nothing leaves it at all. Use a cloud key instead and the prompt goes straight to Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, never through a server of ours, but that provider does see it. We say which is which on every action, and you can see exactly where your data goes. Your work is ordinary files in a folder you chose, so you back it up the way you back up everything else. There is no Advisor Prep Hero cloud to depend on.
Already bought the old one-time license?
You keep exactly what you paid for, in good faith. Advisor Prep Hero 3.0 is a new, repositioned product at new pricing, and we never claw back what you already own. And because everything is local files in open formats, your work is never hostage to us: if Advisor Prep Hero disappeared tomorrow, your documents stay exactly where they are.
